I am LMAO!

Hey, what's that hanging from the ceiling in fashion designer's Nanette Lepore's townhouse? Jonathan Adler did the decoratin' and I've posted the few rooms I like. The rest is too much mirrored furniture and general Adler weirdness.

Article and slideshow newly posted here on Elle Decor's website.

Update: I just remembered that Adler also did maternity wear designer Liz Lange's apartment, photos here.

Are you loving, hearting, lurving, that crystal ship or what?! Actually, I like most of those rooms, too. Especially the hexagonal brass and glass cocktail tables. Yummy.

I just got this Elle in the mail and wanted to race to my computer to scan / show you the ship lamp. 3 in one week! crazy! I sort of want one really really badly.

I like the rooms you picked but I hate that adult flower girl dress nanette is wearing.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love the "twee" factor. It just seems to be the go-to clever-ish light fixture. Designers (and those who roll with them) should see all kinds of red flags when a trend trickles down to Zoinks (Z Gsllerie).

Do you think Lepore actually owns all of the Jonathan Adler pieces or did he deliver a truckload of stuff for the photo shoot?

You got the jump on the stupid crystal ship trend:

Her shoes in that picture! Her SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOESS! What is the inner monologue of a woman who pairs a frilly, girly black & white frock with hideous yellow clod-hoppers from hell? They're like designer crocs!

I was going to comment on the footwear, but thought it off-topic. A parallel to ponder - a fashion designer who cannot shod herself properly; architects have the worst taste in interior design.
