The strangest retail marriage ever

From the NY Times T Magazine: "Colette, the Parisian temple of all things conceptual and cool, practically invented the fashion-collaboration phenomenon, working with brands as diverse as Goyard and Kid Robot. Now it has teamed up with the Gap to bring its wares stateside for the first time. It’s opening a pop-up store in the Gap’s rotating concept space, adjacent to the flagship store on Fifth Avenue and 54th Street. Colette x Gap standouts include artist-created T-shirts, denim jackets customized by Olympia Le Tan and souvenirs by Kuntzel + Deygas, who are also responsible for the store’s video projections. Don’t dillydally: the hybrid shopping experience lasts only from Sept. 6 to Oct. 5."

P.S. I hate the Red Campaign. If you want to give to an African AIDS charity, just write a damn check. Cut out the heinously bloated middleman that is GAP.
