An American abroad

A wee peak into Kiwis' perceptions of Americans with the top screengrab being self-explanatory. The poll below refers to New Zealand conservative political leader John Key's delusional attempt to grab a little of the Obama sparkle. Key, a former international Merrill Lynch bigwig with little political experience, is gunning for the Prime Minister post in this fall's election.

Kiwis are following the American race closely with any and all US political news making headlines here. Bush and his band of merrymakers are loathed by most New Zealanders who rightly blame the Kiwi recession on America's fiscal quagmire. Where the US goes, so goes the world. Needless to say, Obama fans abound down under.
