I don't know if I can get on board for knotty pine walls again, having grown up with them. (At least they're not shellacked).
Seriously -- there is a lot of wood there! And I love wood... I have wood floors, tons of wood furniture, wouldn't mind a wooden ceiling, but that is wood on top of wood.

I do like the general trending towards rustic, agri-chic. And that bathroom is hawt!
Those ceilings! OMG I love them! I need them! Knotty wood just makes a house homey, doesn't it?

Yes, can we please find a word to replace "chic"????? Avoiding cliched words makes labeling trends so very difficult.
I loved this whole story; that bathroom and kitchen in particular were a welcome shot in the arm after endless miles of white carrera, subway tile and bin pulls...
