W's new digs

Soon-to-be ex-President George W. Bush has bought this home (through an intermediary) in the highfalutin' Dallas neighborhood of Preston Hollow. Purchased in October for $2.07 million, the house was built in 1959, runs 8500 square feet and sits on a little over an acre. The house next door was also scooped up, presumably to house a Secret Service detail.

I saw this, too.

Dubs would never have the balls to move to Austin. Hippies would be at his throat in no time. Did you see than an arsonist burned down the governor's (assinine Rick Perry) mansion? Meanwhile, all the comments in the Dallas Morning News were like, "Welcome back, Mr. President. Thank you for your service to our country."

WTF? Have Dallasites been living under a rock?
