Future fashions for the First Lady?

Last Friday, inaugural gown designer Jason Wu presented his Fall/Winter '09 collection. These are my picks for future First Lady sightings.

What do you think?

Awesome! I want her hand-me-downs. I'll be keeping my neckline low, though. Hey, I'm only 30 and my hubby ain't no president.

Love it all. How refreshing to see runway designs that look like they are ready to go immediately into ready-to-wear production, and not all "look at me I'm really creative and you could never afford this crazy design nor could you wear it because you are not an anorexic waif."

I can totally see Michelle wearing any of those outfits. She's got such flair!

You should be Michelle's stylist.

Love the Frida Kahlo vibe and the jewelry! All the clothes are fab, and the colors are amazing -- especially the chartreuse.

the chartreuse, the chartreuse... sublime. I gotta say, though, I'm not feeling the spiny necklaces. The dresses deserve better.

I'm with Designers' Brew, the chartreuse. Lose the necklace, add some gloves.

I'm for the slime green one without the necklace. That is one fab dress...and yes, you need to be her stylist.

Lovely post.
