Impress your guests

Instead of using tacky wine charms, write your guest's name on the glass with a white China marker. The writing will come off in the dishwasher or with a bit of scrubbing if you prefer hand washing.

That is just soooo smart. The best ideas are usually the most simple, huh!

UH! Just las night, after stealing Erin's husband's glass yet again, I said - out loud - I guess I'll have to break down and buy some of those stupid wine charms, I just wish they weren't so tacky.

Problem solved!

Ooo looks fabulous, what a great idea! (a bit next-level from sharpies on red Solo party cups.)

You ARE brilliant!

love the idea but people would have to write their own at my place, I have horrible handwriting.

But I have a whole collection of permanently sharpied wine glasses already...

Doh!

I'm not feeling this. I can just see the handwriting at the end of the night, all smeared and illegible...

If it's a good party, HG, let's hope so.

sorry, what is a china marker?

Raina said...

It's a "grease" pencil - a writing instrument made of hardened wax that can be used on slippery surfaces.

thanks Raina, I'm going to look for one in the craft shop. god knows when we'll be able to throw a party (8 months pregnant now), but I want to have this thing at hand ;)
