This item will save my sanity

I just bought a Trunki for our trip home in a few months, even though we still don't know what city we're headed to. We will be traveling for a roughly 24 straight hours, and anything we can do to occupy The Pea I will embrace.

That is a fabulous idea! It is even a good idea to buy a few surprise toys - they should keep her captivated for quite some time. Thank goodness the flight from Aukland leaves late in the evening. Hopefully she will get on the plane and fall right asleep! Air New Zealand also had lots of good kids movies and shows....but still it is a long flight for a wee one!

Ha, we have one too and it is brilliant! As a
matter of fact, my youngest is at this very moment "unpacking" his from a visit to grandma's yesterday afternoon. And of course, he just HAD to have the pink version! Go figure!

I snagged the last one at our local baby store, so my only choice was the blue in the photos. At least it wasn't that awful cow pattern.

It's a long flight for anyone, much less someone The Pea-sized. You're a good mama to start the planning now. (If all else fails my mom says that 7-Up and a couple tablespoons of bourbon worked wonders with baby me)

It would take a truckload of Ativan and a Trunki to get me to travel overseas with my kids....

Good luck!

Oh maybe I could get one of these to keep me occupied for our next long haul flight.
Tis the trouble of living in these fabulous lands down under - so friggin long in a plane to go anywhere! And while im away I often ruin my stay by dreading the long haul home. Oh, oh sad am i!!!

I need a Trunki for my upcoming flight to Hawaii, which I am DREADING.

When is LarBear going to start interviewing???? I am not a patient person.

Not soon enough, Erin. Universities work at a glacial pace. I would think he'd start hearing back before the end of this month from interested schools.
