Look Maw...no carerra marble OR subway tile and it's still a functional kitchen!

(actually I rather like both, carerra and subway tile, but these kitchens are refreshingly different!)

Having grown up with avocado green and harvest gold appliances, I have to say the black and white stripes are game-changing.

I agree. It's nice to see a DIFFERENT kitchen for a change. Even I'm sick of marble and subway and I heart them.

Back in the day, kitchens came in only two colors -- Avocado Green and Harvest Gold. Ours was the former and it matched the shag carpet in the living room beautifully!

We are replacing the doors and drawers to white in our kitchen and I have been thinking of painting one wall a gorgeous olive green!

I like the Miles Redd kitchen the bestest.

Will I ever tire of stripes?

we had harvest gold growing up. with the phone attached to the wall to match. love those bar stools in the last shot, the green not so much for a kitchen.
