Yep, perf.

I especially love the one with the dark wood island to change it up.

Yay! My favorite! Nothing like a simple, all white kitchen with a subway tile backsplash. But you know, now that I think about it, it would be made all the better with a venetian glass mirror, perhaps a zebra skin casually strewn in front of the sink and speaking of sinks, have you seen these new models out now that sit like a vessel on top of the counter? ;0)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I love you. Happy April Fool's to you too.

I'm with HG, that dark island is so striking. I really like that, and the last one. Painting the back of cabinets/shelves makes such a difference.

I'm so desperate for a new kitchen... any one of these would do nicely.

Thanks, DB, the feeling is mutual.

I wrote today's posts three weeks ago and have been waiting for April Fool's for what seems like forever.

they would be so much better if they got rid of every single thing and just covered a bare room floor to ceiling in that tile. It would go great with the straight jacket you would most certainly need after being subjected to so much subway tile.

Okay, I am reading backwards, and see you have filled your subway tile quota and then some, you April Fool!

I realised when you mentioned Kelly Wearstler, because otherwise I'd have thought you'd lost your marbles.

I'm a dumbass.

It took me an entire day to get it.

Props to you (I'm sticking my tongue out while I say it).

That's OK, HG. I think the time difference threw people. I'm nearly a day ahead.

I'm with you, Camilla + Kate. Not at all bothered by the subway tile. And I adore the venthood in the top photo. Raina, do you have venthood hatred also? ;-)

Raina said...

I have my preferences, but an outright loathing of venthoods? No.
