Because I'm nosy

This is the fragrance corral on the top of my dresser.

From left to right: La Base Eau de Parfum for her, Creed Tuberose Indiana (my fave), Stella McCartney Stella roll-on, Fracas (LB's fave), Urban Decay Pistol, Estee Lauder Private Collection, Urban Decay Go, ELPC lotion, Houbigant Quelques Fleurs, Fresh Sake.

The extra bits are confetti from a Wiggles concert pulled out of my coat pocket and a ballerina figurine I've had forever.

As you can see, I'm all kindsa girly when it comes to scent. So I'm curious, what fragrance do you wear? I want to hear from the boys, too!

I like musky scents.

I love florals - and EL Private Collection is a fav. Also Alfred Sung and Dior #19. I have a fling once in awhile with other fragrances, but those are always the go to standbys.

My friend likes vanilla scented perfume. Don't like smelling like baked goods myself. She always smells like a freshly baked coffee cake.

I'm all soapy and clean-scented. D&G Light Blue or Issy Miyake Light. And Dove soap.

Chanel's Antaeus, I've worn it off and on since high school. It's a heavy oriental, love-or-hate kind of scent. I love.

I used to have perfume bottles like that...sigh. I just don't take the time for myself any more, but I've been thinking I should. Used to wear EL's Beautiful (in lotion form) all the time, have worn Chanel No. 19, Eau de Givenchy, Houbigant's Demi-Jour. I had a coworker who used to wear Quelques Fleurs, and it is gorgeous! Now that I don't see her, and you live on a different continent, maybe I'll go for that one!

I've been dousing myself in Tiempe Passate (quickly using up the little sample from Antonia's Flowers).
Before that, I was hooked on Narcisco Rodriquez.

Chanel CocO Mademoiselle, Emporio Armani, and Lolita Lempicka! Those are my three favorites!

I prefer fresh "green" scents, not too flowery. For everyday I wear Miracle by Lancome (the BFs fave), or Ginger by Origins or occasionally Happy by Clinque. A winter fave is Guerlain's Vetiver, which is a men's scent and smells like grass and earth and this makes no sense but if I could eat it, I would. I love Fracas on my friend Mary and Chanel Chance on my fridnd Janet, but they both smell completely different on me. When I smell Joy it instantly transports me to being about 7 and watching my mom get ready to go out. I don't think she wears it any more though. Great post, I love reading everyone's answers.

I tend to wear Coco Mademoiselle and Allure in the fall, and Stella McCartney and Kate Spade in the spring. And I also have Armani She and Ferragamo for Women that I mix in from time to time when it's cold out.

One of my friends used to wear Hermes Iris... it was DIVINE... but I think they've discontinued it because I haven't seen it in a while.

I'm allergic to most perfumes, even the ones in body wash and detergent, so I just smell like sweet, delicious me ;)

I love love love perfumes. Faves at the moment are Byredo's Pulp, Bendelirious' Orange Free State and Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb. All lovely and fruity and gorgeous without being overly sweet sticky and old ladysome. Ooh, and Parfum De Therese which is a tiny sample of a Edition De Parfums fragrance which I must must must buy next time I am in London. Heaven.

I could write about this all night! Thank you!

I'm allergic to most things too.

Once in a while I will use a citrusy body wash, but that's about it.

I am very fussy with smelly stuffs! Most give me headaches - one in particular that old ladiez wear knocks me right out! The perfume counter at a department store is my idea of HELL!
The only one I wear is Issy Miake, been my smell for like ever now, but fella wants me to change as it makes him think of our early days 'hook ups' covered in ciggies and booze! (i dont understand why thats not a happy story!!!)

I think I stink. Otherwise, I occasionally wear Burberry, Aveda's Amazonia and something my sister-in-law gave me for my last bday with no name on it that my neighbor says reminds me of her childhood. Not sure it that is good or bad.

I have worn a lot of things, but I keep coming back to Ralph Lauren, Romance. Nothing too exciting, just comfortable!

I have the Stella roll-on, too! And the Fresh Sake and Pink Jasmine. Hanae Mori is good, too. But when I really want to turn heads, Tom Ford Black Orchid, baby!

Decorina - I'm not a big fan of gourmand scents either.

Emily - I cannot remember if I've welcomed you to La Lamp Shade before. If not - Hello! If so - Hey 'gain, friend!

Robin - I ADORE Guerlain's Vetiver and wish I could get LB to wear it, but he's not a fan.

HOS - Black Orchid is Tuberose Indiana's ritzier doppelganger.

Oh, fun! I've always wanted to try Fracas, if it has your seal of approval, I just might splurge.

I have allergies, sniff, sniff, so I don't change scents often. Viktor and Rolf's Flowerbomb has been on rotation for some time now. It's much stronger, girly and sweet than anything I've used in the past. But I love it. Lancome's Tresor is a long standing favorite and sometimes I like to spritz myself with the Hunnie's scents, just to remind me of him and those include- Carolina Herrera, Issey Miyake, and Hanae Mori.

By the way, your brilliant. That's all. :0)

I have never found a fragrance I really loved - I have a bottle of Banana Republic Classic that I got as a gift that I am so-so about, and a tub of spiced vanilla body butter from the Body Shop that I wear if I want to smell yummy (my husband is a fan, it smells like a nice cup of chai). I always wanted a signature scent but most of them smell too much like alcohol to me so I never invest in any of them.

In my hippie days, I discovered the joys of Patchouli for covering up some unpleasant bodily smells....

In high school it was Chanel No.5 or nothing...

I also went through a musk stage... Egyptian Musk to be exact...

And now I'm sporting the lucky to get a shower and slap on some powdery smelling deodorant.

I sometimes use Aqua di Parma--but I suspect that I mostly like it because of the fab packaging and the fact that Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn used to use it.
I also like Vera Wang and Burberry and Mustela--which is actually supposed to be for babies!

I don't wear perfume too often but I have a few I love:

biehl parfumkunstwerke ee03
Chanel No. 5, for certain cold evenings
Josef Statkus Eau de Perfume
Back to Black by Kilian
Lierre Rose Perfums 06 130

I can't abide anything too sweet. Or spicy. No cucumbers, no green tea, no 'water'. Mostly, I like floral notes with some green abstraction and maybe a touch of darkness.
