Guess where I was this afternoon

At "Disney Princesses on Ice." Wheeeeee! My Kiwi BFF Fiona and her stepdaughter Charlotte joined The Pea and me for an afternoon of sparkly sequined ice skating girl-iness.

The Pea loved Ariel's "Under the Sea" number. "FISHIES!"

The Pea found her seat almost more fascinating than the show.

Fireworks shot out of Cinderella's coach during the finale. It was so rad. Seriously.

Looks like fun! I know my kids would get a huge kick out of that...

I remember going to my first Ice Capades, I was older than The Pea, maybe 9 or 10, and I left there thinking "must learn to ice skate like that". Also, Dorothy Hammill was the guest star, she was fabulous! Shortly afterward I got a Dorothy Hammill haircut. It did not look fabulous on me, and did not improve my skating ability. sigh

I am a big sucker for skating, and Disney too.

I just had this thought...

Leave it to YOUR child to be completely enamored/fascinated by the furnishings.

Chip off the old block?

Oh boy. I have been living in my own delusion that somehow I can avoid the disney princess scene with Geneva.

This is my future, isn't it?

Snapshot of my life in 2 years. Awesome.

The pea is a doll, but what's that band aid about?

Erin, Do you remember this post:

Well, Miss Pea had a little breakout on her forehead from one of the many objects she placed on her forehead. She wouldn't leave the sore alone, and required a BandAid intervention. Now Hers has a scar. :(
