We're headed to Denver!

LB's offer came through just moments ago, and I can now announce that we are headed to Denver, Colorado! We arrive July 12th and are so incredibly happy!!!

I would like to thank D. of Decorina and Skylar who lives in the Denver area and has been such an incredible help with information and advice. D. gave LB a day-long personal tour of the city when he had his interview a couple of weeks ago. I cannot wait to meet her face-to-face!

I'm thrilled for all of you! Congratulations LB! Now, go put your feet up Raina and toast your good fortune with a much deserved adult beverage!

I love Denver! I'm so glad you get to go there! I wish you were coming to suburban NY, but if that's not possible, Denver is a close second!

It's so close to Kansas City! Decorina passes through here on occasion you know, maybe you two should drive over for a break after you get all settled.

Congratulations to LB, and Welcome Home to you all.

Congrats! Still selfishly wishing you were coming to the Northeast, but glad you are going somewhere cool and with plenty of poptarts.

Woohoo! I love that part of the country---the scenery is amazing! Plus it's only a two day drive from san fran to denver, so roll out the guest bed, baby--I'm inviting myself over ;)

I'm so pleased that Raina, LB and the Pea will be here soon! LB is a wonderful man and I'm very excited to meet Raina and Pea in person.

I dragged poor LB all over town - one end of Denver to the other when he was here. I'm sure it was a nice addition to the jet lag from travelling half way around the world. He was gracious and charming, though, through it all.

David, that was an excellent idea. And without a huge vehicle to try to park somewhere Raina and I could have quite a good time. I love KC and would especially love to see it with you!

Hooray! So, Denver is not Austin, but it's a helluva lot closer than NZ!

I am so excited for you, LB and da Pea. Oh, the fantasticness that awaits you -- Denver is a lovely city.

ps, please buy a house close to the slopes... hint hint!

Congratulations! My best friend moved to Denver years ago just to "try it out" and she's been there for like 20 years. And we'll practically be neighbors. Hooray!

WOOHOO! Congratulations. Of course, I was hoping you'd be headed for NYC or at least the East Coast, but at least you'll be back on this continent!

I am thrilled for you! My husband is from Colorado and we aim to move there...eventually. I know you will have fun. Drive around the Bonnie Brae neighborhood (to enjoy the McMansions (yes, I know, but most of them are beautifully done) as well as the older homes) and look out for "Denver Squares". :)
