The hunt, day 3

Day 3 of house hunting took me from one end of the city to the other with Decorina riding shotgun. This mid-century sweetie pie shows a lot of promise and would be a mere 6-minute commute for LB. The downside is one less bedroom than we would like, and it's nearly a 40-minute drive to temple and the JCC.

The entertaining possibilities!

That cathouse red would have to go.

This one was dismissed when the estimated commute clocked in at nearly 50 minutes.

This ranch was overbuilt (3107 sq ft) on a tiny lot and by far the largest house for blocks. Never a good real estate investment.

More tomorrow, Dumplings...

Good memory, Debi, we did. I sold it on TradeMe and made about $20 more than what I paid for it. :))

wow the first one is lovely the kitchen looks huge, perfect for sliding in your socks with pea (I'll visit too if there's sock sliding space!)

NUMBER ONE! NUMBER ONE!

And I say that not only because I love the house, but because a short commute to work is such a luxury, especially in the winter.

And as big as it looks, you could hold temple there and be your own community center. Problem solved!

I love the open sweeping spaces in the first!

Sigh, the search continues. I know this is serious business for you, but I love coming along for the ride!

Not if it was the last living chair on the planet, Amy, and I had nowhere else to sit.

Who knew Denver had so many cool houses, i expected to see a bunch of lodges with lots and lots of plaid. Even if none of these are perfect (#1 is swoon-worthy) you're certainly moving in the right direction
