Why people live in the West

The Rocky Mountains in all their glory. Absolutely magnificent.

We headed up to Loveland Pass this morning and posed for the obligatory Continental Divide photo.

LB and The Pea played in an old dirty snowpack.

The classic lemon shot at lunch in Silverthorne.

While living on the Beast Coast in the DC area all I wanted to see was Virginia in my rear view mirror. I wanted to go back west (what you say when you are from there) in the worst way...there was so much that I missed.

The mountains are one thing. The canyons are the other. The people are different - and their agendas are much more open. I have a theory that the people are like the landscape.

I love the Rockies, our New England mountains are little hills in comparison.

Love the lemon shot, hilarious, make sure you save that one for her wedding video.
