Daily deliciousness

Fellow Hoosier and recent Denver transplant Maggie Wickes has just launched the Bluebird Candy Dish Company. Choose the adorable reproduction candy dish you like best and then select the goodies to fill it. Maggie will ship your gift anywhere in the country.

My favorite is the "Anouk," a glass candy holder fashioned to look like a Ziploc baggie. So clever!

Did you say candy?

Just what I need to chase away the bitter taste of that brownie I scarfed down not two seconds ago.

There are things about the holidays I like.

Alison - I went to Taylor in Kokomo (let's just keep that between us). I graduated from IU-Bloomington and lived in Indy for nearly 12 years where I had my two stores.

Aww,awesome...I went to IU too. Can you say what the name of your shops were? Maybe I've been!

Alison - J.R. Newport (on Geist) was the home store, and Red Ella was the clothing boutique. It was originally at Geist too, then I moved it to Willow Lake on W. 86th near St. Vincent.
