Love, love love.
You've inspired me so! My husband surprised me with a new aluminum ladder for Hanukkah/Christmas and I am now plotting which room to start painting first.
Bravo to you and the fabulous color!
(yes, he got me jewelry as well)

It IS glorious, you've likely single-handedly raised Ben Moore's January 2010 sales. Well done Raina!

Wow. I love the way the deep blue looks with the headboard. I'm a little scared about the ceiling, though. Something about the pattern and the color makes me think of persian rugs--in a good way.

Laurelstreet, Sandy, Kate, and Lulu - Hello to each of you and welcome to this deliciousness!

Jon A - LB asked for a sleeping cave, and my husband's wish is my decorating command. ;)

Oh Raina! It's gorgeous! And, yes, to the painted ceiling, trim, and heaters in blue. Love it! Hey, was this blue one of your color choices in your prior tests? I don't remember it...

Susie - It was not, but i just wasn't happy with any of the first choices. So I tried three different navy blues and found the perfect color.

I think that house was worth buying for the shutters alone. Are they not the MOST fabulously cool things evah!?!

Stunning! I can't wait to see the finished room. It was worth all of the paint discussion and dilemma for sure.

I love it! I am very excited to see it finished.

Your bold ceiling painting maneuvers inspire me. (The Pea's green ceiling--WHOA! Fabulous!)

I am still doing the accent wall thing. If I wasn't such a dork, I'd be doing full rooms in one color and the ceiling the same, but I can't seem to shake that accent wall/secondary/contrasting color business. Why?! Because of this dated HGTV quirk of mine, my ceiling has to be white or the colors veer right into Clown City.

Am I the only one who still does accent walls? I'd love to know.

Anyway, you found just the right blue for a sleep cave. I just love it. The room itself is a stunner...it's huge!

...and the heavens opened up and angels sang and all was good with the world. Now that's some religion I can get behind. It's glorious, R.
