This made me feel better

I just ordered this dress. Because I have been kicked in the head with a miserable cold for four days now and I want to feel better.

The bow is outta there, because I'm not a "bow" girl. 'Twill be replaced with a thick leather belt. Hee! I said "thick."

I know a couple of you are thinking "The hell?!?" I dress far more conservatively than I decorate. As much as I love contemporary interior design, I'm more of a boho prep when it comes to fashion.

So what have you Dumplings been up to this weekend?

We had a contractor come by to answer some questions, and then an exciting trip to Costco. But NEXT week is the AIDSWalk Putt Putt Pub Crawl.

The return of the 10am chocolate martinis!

Yes, that is going to look fabulous on every inch of your statuesque frame. And purrrfect for Atlanta in Spring. ;0)
I hope clicking "buy" helped to alleviate your miserable cold.

We've had a busy, busy weekend. My dad's b-day on Friday, Jay Z concert on Saturday (my ears are still ringing, seriously!) and my twin nephews 1st birthday party today. Phew, I need a weekend to get over my weekend!

Oh, and I almost forgot, lots of hamantaschen baking. The Mister made the most awesome dough. I've been sneaking bites of it raw. Probably not a good idea, huh. No self control. :0)

Do you ever look through the Tracy Porter website?

Anita - Is that the same Tracy Porter who made that awful painted stuff in the 1990s? I used to see that stuff at market and get physically ill.

WOW - she's come a long way.

HA! I was going to make the caveat -- don't look at the home-wares (just scout the clothes and jewelry!!)

C.J. - Hello and welcome to this deliciousness!

LOVE the dress!!! You will totally rock it, lady.

And I wish I spent my weekend at a dope Jay Z concert (you are awesome, nkp), but instead we cooked, cleaned, prepared for babyocalypse.

So glad to hear that you're feeling better!

I wish I were tall enough to pull off that dress.

I wrote a paper and perused online shops as a reward. I didn't purchase though. You're inspiring me...

Feel better!

I do believe a picture of you in this dress will be required.

Me, I spent the weekend tending to a very sick little girl- to include a quick trip to the ER. I'm ready for my time-out now.

Raina Cox said...

Teri - Oh, I hope everything is OK. Sending good thoughts your way...

Thank you Raina. She seem to be on the mend.

Now, if I can just keep everything else in place and have no more life eruptions we'll be good.
