A pause in the snark

I know y'all come here for the snark and photos of drop-dead gorgeous boho contempo interiors. And the snark.

But I must share with you a little slice of precious that tore a hole of rainbows and ponies through my black heart - the growth chart of A Perfect Gray's son. From toddlerhood through the teen years, painted around many times.

I tell ya, I nearly teared up. And, Dumplings, you know that only happens to me when I see red tag stickers at TJ Maxx.

I like a good snark and love a great one but truth be told, that kind of stuff pierces right through my bitter chocolate shell and melts my marzipan center.

It's time for a snack now.

Had the very same reaction, but I think we have much in common because those damn red tags do it to me every time.

My kid could have made that growth chart. All the dates corresponded w/ Danger Boys gargantuan height.

Did you notice he is probably left handed. When he was too little to trace his own hand, the left hand was being traced. Sooo cute. And then when he got big enough to trace his own, the hand being traced changed. Sooo cute.

I know, for a fact, your heart is made of gold.

This growth chart, oy, too much, too sweet. Time is so fleeting.

Red stickers...the only thing better then one is one on top of another. Know what I mean? ;0)

I'm so sick that we didn't keep a growth chart. And I love the tracings of hands. So adorable.

I love this idea!

And the mental image of rainbows and ponies piercing your black heart is going to get me through today.

Loved this and indeed it almost brought a tear. I also love snark, I call my littlest little snarky fish because sometimes he is. xo

Woefully tearful here...this is definitely not "merchandised."

A perfect snark must resume!
