Riddle solved

Marie Claire Maison.

A few months ago, I featured this bath in Daily Deliciousness. The photo was cropped so that it was difficult to tell if light was streaming in from a skylight or if water was falling from an overhead shower. Turns out it's the latter.

An article in the new Marie Claire Maison identifies the feature in question as Dornbracht's "Rain Shower." Also shown are a bath tub and a sink vanity from Jamie Hayon's bath suite for Artquitect.

Dreamy!

This shower makes me happy in my special spot.

how are rogue splashes handled? seems like potential for a mess to me (where do you keep the soap and shampoo?)

Dreamy yes, but I do agree with boops that it is the definition of wet mess. And I hope it's not on a second floor.

I love this!!!! But I think I would've put it in that back corner -- to the right of the window.
I'll have to research this beauty; one question: how do you regulate the temperature?

Love Hayon's bath suite. The shower is lovely, but confusing. It looks like a slippery, sloppy mess in the making. Put some glass walls around it, and I'm in.

I'm with boops. What a mess! Who wants to take a shower in such a large open space? Also, it must be slick afterwards. Too contrived, IMHO.

Boops - I think you just wipe up any splashed just like you wipe down your shower glass. I'm guessing the toiletries are kept on a little cart nearby, at least that's what I would do.

Anita - A wall-mounted lever comes with the shower head. It's just not showing up in the photo.

Ashlina - Hello and welcome to this deliciousness!

yes, ok it's GORGEOUS! but i have a small prob. when i take a shower it is 50 percent clean time and 50 percent therapy time. and the steam in the shower is super important to achieve complete clean and relaxation. i know without a doubt that this shower would suck balls if it were cold in there.
that said, it's still stunning. and i might have to forgo practicality and just get a steam shower for my other bathroom bc i have obviously richballs.

Looks like my kitchen ceiling did a few weeks ago during a freak storm we had! Fun times!

The idea of that shower is equal parts awesome and something you'd find in a prison. I still love it.

Ah, this would be a no, unless this was the masterbath

I love it but might be a bit chilly don't you think? Wish there were more pictures to see rest of the room!
