A vacation on the top floor

When an architect returns from an inspirational trip to Bali and decides to build his dream home, he creates this deliciousness.

The second floor of this Miami house is completely open for year-round outdoor entertaining. The covered terrace measures 3400 square feet.

The upstairs kitchen accesses the first floor via a dumbwaiter. We're ignoring the bathtub planter.

A swimming pool was installed in the foundation of the property's original house.

They are selling the house and moving to Colorado - maybe you could do a house swap?

Jessica - Trust me, that crossed my mind.

3400 sq ft of outdoor living, that sounds amazing if not a bit of overkill.

So amazing. What a smart use of space.

It's gorgeous and I love the idea of this kind of outdoor living, and drool whenever House Hunters International is in Bali or somewhere similar. But I HATE bugs and you can't tell me there are no bugs here. That is why I am a big fan of the screened porch!

I love entertaining outdoors. This place would suit me just fine. When I move in that bath tub would be the first to go, curbside in 10 secs.

The bathtub planter is small price to pay for such outdoor deliciousness.

This house was on a tv show years ago. I think Joe Ruggiero was the host.
