Off the runway and into your home

W magazine.

Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the sister act behind the high-end fashion label Rodarte, are now designing upholstery and drapery fabrics for Knoll Luxe. Inspired by past runway collections, "each design is named after their favorite poets and writers, including E.E. Cummings, John Keats, William H. Auden [shown above] and Dorothy Parker." Prices start at $130 per yard, a bargain compared to the four-figures their gowns sell for.

this is so good to know! the ONLY fashion show i've ever sat in was a Rodarte Show and it was stunning. I can only imagine what their fabrics feel like. I am going to keep my eye out for it next time i'm in the decorative center. great post thanks!

I would love to see all the fabrics! One that looks like that dress would be amazing.
