"Our Two Daddies"

The setting for "Our Two Daddies," a new half-hour television comedy: An 1839 Greenwich Village brownstone owned by two yuppie gay men. Tim, a TV producer, and Peter, the president of Cynthia Rowley Inc., are raising 5-year-old twins, Bea and Lily. The dads realize the twins need a "big girl" room and hire Fawn Galli to create the space.

Episode One: Galli escorts the girls to ABC Carpet & Home to select an area rug. The rug must coordinate with Galli's Moroccan stencils and a watercolor of the twins painted by Ruben Toledo. Hijinks ensue.

Episode Two: Decorator Galli asks the twins to review polka-dot swatches for a side chair. The dots MUST match the girls' collection of ethically-knitted Bla Bla dolls. Hilarity ensues.

Episode Three: The twins ask for separate desks but space constraints dictate a shared art area. Galli orders the Elementary Table from The Land of Nod. Crisis averted!

Episode Four: Galli suggests chalkboard paint for the hall leading to the twins' bathroom. The tri-lingual Montessori-educated girls get in trouble for writing swears in foreign languages.

Season finale: The twins are tasked with decorating the stairwell of the brownstone. The dads take the girls to MoMA for inspiration. Galli serves as art director for the project. Hilarity and hijinks ensue.

Join us next season when the girls are so impressed with Galli's work, they ask her to decorate their dollhouse!

Oh my gosh, I so needed your dose of hilarity and hijinks this morning! I love the reality tv shows playing in your head! So much better than 9 by Design or others. You're the best!

Dreamer's Den - I didn't personally recognize it, but the bedding was mentioned in the article. Keen eye you have there, Miss.

I'm short on coffee and on words today, so I'll be a copycat and ditto Susie and MFAMB, with a lot of applause sprinkled throughout. Awesome!
