Wallpaper I can't use

Never been a Fornasetti fan - too "Look at me being clever!" But I've fallen hard for his "Nuvole" wallpaper from Cole & Son. I have no wall big enough to show off the pattern's fabulousness, and I'm quite sad about the situation.

A Perfect Gray, surely you can use this somewhere...

o my stars. I have never seen that before. it really is art for the wall. awesome. and I loved the Cole and Son site - you can click the paper patterns and test drive any wallpaper you choose ...

I like it too - it's a bit like an etching. 'Riflesso' sort of does it for me. And I still like 'woods'. The only problem with that one is that so does every man and his mother (and her dog).

Oh man, I love it! I think it would be fabulous in a small powder room. Ceiling covered with it too.

beautiful! at first I thought "I can't use" meant you had no use for it, but man , are you sure there is no where it would work? it's bee-youtiful!

look at the mediterranea wallpaper on the cole & son website and tell me again you aren't a fornasetti fan!

it is fabulous, especially in the black and white colourway with gold accent on the domes.

takes me straight to the greek islands. I'm using it in my guest cloakroom because I have to use it somewhere I love it so much and I can't think where else I can - any ideas?

(but I agree with you as far as the heads and sons go, they don't do it for me either)

uh that would be "suns"

Melissa - I'm a fan of most any wallpaper with gold bits on it. And, yeah, those Fornasetti lady face plates about do my head in.

I love that you're papering a closet. I want to do that in our master bedroom, but it's low on the priority list.

oh what a relief, if you'd hated that wallpaper I might have cried. I feel that all right thinking people must like it...!

ah, priorities. listen to me talk about all the things I'm going to do to this house that I'm not even moving into until the end of august. ask me in a year how much I've actually implemented of my grand plans :)

I am now obsessed with this paper, and have combed the interwebs, hoping to find a vendor who stocks it on sale.

No luck.

Why am I so poor?

Raina Cox said...

Erin - I understand your obsession. The only two rooms I have left to paper are bathrooms, and neither have walls large enough to do that pattern justice.

*sigh*

Wish you had never posted this...

No I don't.

Yes I do.

I want it so bad.

It is so pretty. I saw it and thought, "Oh my entry way!" but no. It deserves better.

That said, great wallpaper guru, have you any ideas where a desperate woman can find some art deco inspired graphic wallpaper? I can't even tell you how much I would love you for a tip off.
