Z-gads

So this photo arrived in a Z Gallerie email this morning.

Tell me, who besides reality show contestants decorates like this?

Someone aspiring to be on Real Housewives of New Jersey?

I can say that because I'm from the where they film that show. Money can't buy you class, dah-ling.

ugh! this photo is burning my computer screen.

sadly, there are some queens that do decorate like that though...

A frightening number of people want to "decorate" like that and then they run out of money.

crikey

so much to say, don't know where to start.

oh yes i do. what is with those curiously shrunken pedestal planters on - what, a shelf? a large rectangular plinth?

what are they doing there?

surely they should be 12 times the size, made of weathered stone and in the garden nicely planted up with camellias?

very curious

People with too much money and not a lot of art in their soul.

I'm not getting the reason that the table is set like that. It looks like someone stopped midway and the scale is, for lack of a better word, weird.

Did Ben book our anniversary dinner at the funeral home AGAIN?

OK, so its a little cheesy, but its not as bad as some other horrific stuff we have seen.

The chandelier is hideous though.

i feel like i can't get proper perspective from this photo -- like being in a house of mirrors.
and never mind the horrid design -- how the hell are you supposed to eat? "excuse me, sir, i seem to be missing my silverware."

At first, I thought Liberace, like hmstrjm, but this is actually subdued for him.

I like it, it's clean and sophisticated. It's perfect for spring, plus, it's merely a suggestion, I don't think anyone is really sitting down to dinner at this table on an email...

Not everyone in Miami would - at least not in my house.

I've never gotten those chandeliers... what's the point of the cellophane bit?? The urns are creepy, and the white artichoke thingies are confusing.

Oh my god. For a second I thought that the fixture was actually a lamp on a flat screen t,v. In HD!
Seriously!

What is with the plaster of Paris artichoke thingies. Are they napkin rests?
