ah, Raina, my sweet, what would you say if I told you that during the Reagan era, the height of Zipkin's walker fame, the apartment WAS photographed in color? I'm thinking it was Architectural Digest. Of Course. And I further, if my memory serves me correctly, believe the text to have been written by Chris Buckley, son of Zipkin's great friend, Mrs. William. Possibly it was HG, but I think, AD...

Are you sure that's not the Nate Berkus apt that was recently featured in ED?

Please please post the color.

MFAMB - TDED is brah-zilliant.

Erin - Seriously. Everything old is new again.

Alexandra Rae - I wasn't able to track down the article. Hopefully, with a new editor at the helm of Architectural Digest, the website will be improved and old content will be added.

Also, hello and welcome to this deliciousness!
