Bad picture of a pretty awesome odd room....Though I dont dig the dead crow on the ottoman & quite hate the mirror, the coffee table, the rug doesnt talk to me.
But still when you look at it from this angle: http://www.shootfactory.co.uk/view-image-big.php?picNum=3&prop=467&img=9247&
its got personality!
(i may be biased cause of the Juju!)

That stool with the legs and the fur is kind of creepy.

This room is dated. Nothing worse than a room with a 15 minute life span.

Who wouldn't want a giant vagina hanging over their fireplace?

Riana,
I read your blog every day as you and I tend to think alike concerning things design wise.

What is that tumor hanging over the fireplace?

EH. That coffee table reminds me of this: http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/fuo/1827491627.html

horror.

It's an oddly intriguing room and I kind of like it. I am not sure I could live in it, but I would definitely hang out there for a while to observe all of the interesting decor. That mirror is insane!

Camilla - That IS a much better shot, 3M.

Alicia - OOF!

Lose the mirror and the fur (feathers?) on the stool and it's a room w/ great bones + personality. Till then, it looks like a place where a vampire brings his victims.

i can't get past the vaginal cavity with womb and ovaries above the fireplace.

The mirror above the fireplace creeps me out but I love the wall finish and the window (iron gate?/mullions?). I went to the gallery that Camilla suggested to possibly get a close up of them and the mullions were just standard.

maybe it could be freshened up with some peonies, a keep calm and carry on print and an ikea sheepskin?

Too much stuff competing for attention. Ick.

Except for the weird bit of mirror above the fire place - I love it!

this looks like something that could have happened on the British Trading Rooms because the neighbours liked "beachy stuff" and had visited "the orient"

I actually kind of like that freakish mirror. Would be better in a more minimal room, I'm thinking.
