If you go down to the woods today, you're in for a big surprise! Nope.

I'm with autrichenoire.
I really hope there's been some kind of mistake and that this isn't the work of my beloved Celerie...

I always love waking up in the morning with bits of dead leaf in my hair. It would appear this is taking a theme to the extreme.

It is clear to those that read me.... I am not an interior design blog......... BUT i can say this reminded me of a CSI episode where they found all these dead bodies in the woods. xo

Leaves and twigs surrounding the bedhead is just asking for leaf litter on your pillow. Wallpaper, art or perhaps a smallish display on the bedside table could have achieved a better effect...

Another Blair Witch Project? I totally expect to find small packets of teeth under those pillows

My favorite part is the cutout in the headboard to allow for the light switch.

As if anyone could ever sleep in the dark in this horror movie.

If I wanted to go camping, I'd go camping. But let's be honest, very rarely do I want to go camping.

Odd. And in no way restful.

Growing up in rural Colorado, I have seen WAY too many rooms with this look. This house probably also has a pair of snowshoes displayed above the fireplace and a carved wood bear on the front porch. Yuck!

I call this Disney Land Design. Too themey for me.

Although the bedspreads look interesting.

Looks like a design challenge from those design turds on HGTV.

Too strong for a random commentor/lurker?

Good, cuz that how I roll.

The headboards are....interesting, but I think the extra twigs are just silly.

Remember the scene from Poltergeist when the scary ass tree comes into the little boys room? Ya. I'd never get any sleep in that room.

I think I could forgive the wood-look headboard and the overall "hunter/forest" theme. (Nice detail how the headboard on the left was customized to accomodate the light switch...) Maybe okay for a kid's room or a cabin. But I've got to say, the random stray sticks and pine cones pushes it over the top. Looks like a strong storm blew a bunch of crap through an open window...

When I was a child, one of my favorite places in the world was an elegant rustic old tearoom, serving popovers and lemonade with jam, overlooking Jordan Pond and the Bubbles mountains. It was paneled in birch bark around 1910. It was lovely. These beds, not so much.

Ok.. So my Swedish self is embracing the Birch. You know how we LOVE Birch!
Twigs and leaves. Yes, am all for it.
Also digging the dog lamp - quirky, but teamed with the somewhat traditional bed covers and dark wood table I am not so sure..

If this was set in by a mountain lake in an otherwise stylish and delightful home of eccentric, creative and fabulously elegant people then yes, bring it on. This would be the guest room and I would love it!
