Lonny gives me what I need

You may have heard there was a big launch today in the online shelter mag world. Lonny, the phoenix that rose from Domino's ashes, debuted a gorgeous new website with category upon category of interiors photos, all easily referenced and accessed. Archives of previous issues are up, there's a new blog, and a "Lonny Loves" section features interviews with movers and shakers of the design world. And if that weren't enough, you can now order paper copies of your favorite issues. A shelter magazine in print - hallelujah!

A few of my favorite Lonny photos:

I was just looking at this, too! There's a lot of stuff on the site that I've never seen before -- love the top image.

Curious to hear your thoughts on Rue. Confused as to why they would choose the same format Lonny just dumped!

Dear Raina, All of this sounds most exciting. I shall certainly look at the 'Lonny' [unknown in the UK] website.

Sketch 42 - I'm not at all interested in Rue. One of the founders started emailing me a couple of years ago, and her communications quickly devolved into very angry, somewhat sociopathic screeds. I wouldn't touch that mess with a ten-foot pole.

OH no really? I liked a few things in Rue but not like getting a Country Living in the mail. Kudos to Lonny for finally having a gallery! You mess with Raina, you mess with her bitches. Boo Rue. (And darn, i just posted about them)

I've been reading a few bloggers comment and say that they like Rue better than Lonny, I really wasn't impressed by it, I rather read my Gameinformer when I'm on the pooper.

You know I love you, but my heart just swelled exponentially. You sly, clever fox you! I think, in your case, sleep deprivation heightens the senses and makes that brilliant mind function at increased levels of, well, BRILLIANCE. ;0). ;0)

I am NOT surprised. Gonna go ahead and assume that you know more than me in most areas from now on. ;) And I am in love with that dining room. DAMN, Gina.

Aaaarghhhh, that first image! I didn't even know I wanted a fur blanket, and now I clearly need one! To keep warm! Obviously!

yummer yumcakes.

I appreciate that you have pointed out both positive and negative things about Lonny. I'll have to check it out.... though honestly I've been pairing down my internet time quite a bit.

Course now I'm mostly sitting here which one of the Rue ladies is loony tunes....
