Oh my... I'm really and truly swooning. { Yes, I've spent 3 years trying never ever ever never to type the word "swoon." But now you've gone and made me do it. } Heaven.

I really need to be lithely tip-toeing back and forth in front of those open windows...looking for peacocks or something, barefoot, swathed in silk stuff, awash in scented oils, and sipping a crazily strong cocktail. Alas instead, I'm working on a soul-crushing, meaningless, yet very urgent, powerpoint presentation - due tomorrow. Yay! (Boo!) : )

I think what you meant to say was, this is where you want to RETIRE. With me in tow, of course.

The sense of space and volume in these rooms is unreal. Does this place really exist, or did you conjure it forth from your wild and raucous imagination? ;0)

Why, yes, that is exactly what you should be doing. I'll join you.

Mmmmmmm..... I'm loving how that bath is so.... everything good.

Lame I know, but I can't think of a better way to describe it.

I love how it is seemless from the wall. There are no distractions from joints etc.

Well...I can now rest assured that my hump day is complete. Moroccan style first thing in the morning is almost as good as my first cup!

Dear Raina, I agree. Absolutely lovely. I like the eclectic collection of furniture, the rooms of pared down minimalism and yet other areas of more opulent design. The elegant courtyard gives such a feeling of peace and tranquility....what is not to like?

Sweet Jeez make it stop.
In this case, the lampshade just fits -- if you catch my drift.
And I think a Serge Mouille would play quite well with too.
I'm so obsessed with the particular plaster finish the Moroccans do on their walls -- that gray bath is the swoon.

Why can't we have arched doorways in this country?

Geez...this is one sexy, gorgeous place! I was looking in all the corners for James Bond or other suitable hunk to frolic with!

Dear Raina,
I wonder whether anyone would ever dislike a house such as this one? It is also my dream - simply wonderful! I also wonder what it is exactly that people are always raving about this kind of style - possibly the perfect composition of being simple and luxurious, cozy and extravagant, stylish and down to earth - I don't know. It's a secret...maybe because everybody loves fairy tales and the tales of Scheherazad...

I am dreaming too especially when I look out of the window and see this dreadful white sh... falling from above. I simply hate winter!
Freezing greetings from Munich,
Petra

And my dream too---for all my Down East yankee roots, there are few things I crave more than a nice little palace in Morocco---nothing too fancy, just a courtyard with some water, and maybe a roof terrace with a view of the sea and/or the Atlas mountains...and.....
