What a beautiful house - love the soft greys and blues. Oh to relax here on one's travels! Jane @ the girl in the brick house.

The upholstered pieces are really beautiful and I rather like the restrained color palette.

Dear Raina, I could not get warm in this house. It looks cold for me, not what I would expect from a country house. It actually does not matter in which country this would be as it can get very cold in the mountains even in Spain. I am missing the "country attitude" you combine automatically with a house like this.
Also I wonder about this ridiculous new trend of having several wooden "blocks" instead of a nice table. What has happened with those?
Greetings, Petra

I could hunker down here just fine.
Loving the upholstered pieces and the artichoke pendant. Besides, the European penchant for sticking mod little reading lights everywhere makes me love them ever-more -- the Euros that is. And in this particular case, I'm totally fine with the coffee table quartet, especially because these appear to puzzle-piece together to form one big slab 'o wood.
Muy Bueno Amiga, Alcira

Rustic coziness for sure.
Loving the wood blocks - great idea for modular mix'n'match.

Hoping you are well and getting ready for a lovely Christmas & New Year.

Sydney is hot and sticky and not all that Christmassy. Not complaining.

Another example of a modern house that I would love to live in. I used to think I had little interest in the style, but you keep finding these gems. I now totally get that what I like in colors and ambience can be very successfully translated into a contemporary style.

I can dig it.
But does no one else see that they threw the rug on the bed for lack of better accessories?
