That bergere looks hot on you

Have you ever loved an interiors shot so much you just wanted to rub it all over your body? I have.

Greek fashion designer Mary Katrantzou lets decor porn have its way with high fashion in her Spring 2011 collection. Inspired by 1970s photos of Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin, Katrantzou sourced images from past issues of Architectural Digest and The World of Interiors to transfer onto her silhouettes. Each dress and suit was constructed to precisely fit the photo as well as the human form. No mean feat.

This is a mad good post.
The clothes, however, look impossible to pull off for we mere mortals.
Alas, I'd probably have to use the dresses as wall art.

I saw these awhile ago and thought the same thing as Shosh. Amazing detail.

Fabulously architectural! I would happily attempt to stuff myself into #4.

In answer to your first question -yes.
Back in the 90's when I was a textile showbag I got very excited about a particular Monkwell collection that rocked my world.

ps. that model looks scary. It was the right decision to decapitate her.
