If I had a shack in the woods, this is what it would look like. You could wear your gumboots inside, flop your feet up on the dining table and have a nice cuppa tea.

Note: As I am a lamp lover, I would be in heaven in this house (-:

I have an overwhelming urge to tidy up.
It feels like a kitchen made out of an old science lab. or something. Anyway doesn't do it for me, too much wood, too many wires, irritating shallow shelves just itching for a dusting...

I agree with Melissa...doesn't work for me either.

i was gonna comment and say, "why are there steaks left out on the counter on the left??"

then i zoomed in and realized it's marble.

designFAIL??

I liked exposed wiring sometimes, but not this time. Seems a little unorganized.

A little busy, but with some editing, I love it.

It took me a good ten seconds to figure out this was a kitchen.

Still, so much to love here, though I'd probably replace the mirror, cabinetry hardware, table legs, and some of the pieces on the countertops.

And I'm the opposite of the commenter above; I usually hate exposed wiring, but I think it's well used here.

I love it! We are building a cabin in the woods and this is a super cool cabin kitchen!

When I was a young counter-culturally inclined lad with a ponytail and overalls, this is how all our kitchens looked in our little cabins and rebuilt farmhouses in the woods of Maine...

Actually, my kitchen now doesn't look all that different----I must remember to call a contractor...

Great for a cabin in the woods. But, what's up with all that make-do lighting? I count 7 spots for lightbulbs... weird.

I can't even see what's going on here. To my eye, there's clutter. Even if everything in the picture is in place, it looks cluttered to me.

Some people find clutter comfortable and cozy, but I would find it impossible to relax here.

Upon first glance, it looks like one big hot mess. Especially the lighting fiasco. However, with a whole lot of editing, it could be a great weekend escape. Thing is, I want to escape from the mess, not to the mess...

Just too much. My eyes have no place to rest, except maybe the table. Then I notice the table's legs and wonder why anyone would do that to a table.

i don't hate it.

I like this alot -- in theory -- minus the exposed wires (those look dangerous), I'd also have to do a little light organizing.
But all in all good shtuff.

Meet me in the lamp factory's break room. Remind me not to forget to turn out the lights when we leave.
