My 3 Lonny faves

The new issue of Lonny is chock full of Valentine girlyness - Frenchypoo chairs, delicate brass-and-glass, loads of tiny floral arrangements, and enough zebra rugs to make me think it was 2007. But I was able to find three images that make me happy in the pants...

Lilly Pulitzer on a boat, circa 1964.

This entry. Sublime.

This outdoor setting. Minus 1 point for the Hermes throws which were dragged into two other photos in the same feature. Were these throws the zebra rug of 2010?

I thought the issue was great.

And Lilly Pulitzers mustache is alarming.

Sketch42 - DUDE! Did they not have depilatories in the early 1960s?

I had a hard time finding something I liked in the last issue. So this does nit surprise me. I have yet to take a look for myself.

Buyah! She's back and on a roll!

Several of the Lonny staff are former Domino-ers and I always feel that's reflected in the shoots. This issue was pretty femme-heavy, but I thought it was better than the last installment.
What a woman, that Lilly P.
I for one, have no problem with a proliferation of H blankets -- though I do prefer the black and gray versions to the orange. But hey, Lonny, feel free to send me your prop-styling leftovers any day ;)

I feel the same way about that entry. So understated, no kapow! But, simple and lovely all the same.

Pretty cool all around apart from the lady on the boat in the "dated florals" hahaha

look at lilly p.'s swagger pimp boat sofa fringe. also, i learned from my mom, who has just discovered the internets, that pimp stands for poop in my pants. indeed.

yes, yes, and yes, and nix on the throws also.

And what I wouldn't give to be on that boat and out of today's snowstore...

I certainly would not kick an Hermes throw out of my life, but take them outside? To put on furniture that birds have pooped on? No, no, no.

(I really like the chairs and everything else, though.)

PS: Raina, don't ever leave us! That really freaked my shit out the other day.
