You could put the people whom you love on the love seat, and the people whom you don't on the sharp stool.

Everyone happy, no?

{I love the love seat though!}

Love this room... Especially the floor lamp x

Yes I saw this before and thought that I liked it, but it is trying too hard, the mix is not seamless and effortless, it wants this look and trying hard to achieve it.
However, it still is a nice room, maybe the styling made it end up with this look.

another useless walkthrough room

I think I agree with Jimmy, it's a bit too contrived for my liking :( Nicolex

This home has the most beautiful hallway and I posted that and a few other rooms, but I couldn't get behind this one. It grates me for some unknown reason.

I absolutely despise the machismo in this room - the deco is an anachronism!

I love the artwork and orange settee, the rest leaves me wanting to reaarrange the furniture and find other rugs.

Taken piece by piece really fantastic but all together, I don't think so. LOVE the matador painting(?).

I actually like this space. My favorite part is how the matador appears to be leaning on the settee. I think it's cool. Sort makes me want to wait for him to turn around. M.

It's not bad. It's also not earth-shattering. I do quite like senor matador. He intrigues me, the rest, not so much.

It looks more like a retail display than a living space. I'll take the lamp.

I'm with Appletree - I'd like to shop this room. I'd pick up the painting. the settee, and probably the zebra rug.

I love the balance of large white doorway + silvery artwork with dark matador painting and apricot-gold settee. Too many distracting objects for me to fully enjoy the composition of that wall, but I do think it is a beautiful composition.

Like: floor lamp(especially that its on casters), settee (mostly for the colour and sparkly detail), chairs around the table in the back, chevron floors, how the blue rug keeps this room from being too warm and plays with the art in the back room
Don't like: fake zebra print rug (even if its real, it looks fake to me)

I would only really consider taking the lamp for myself :)

I'm with many of the other commentors: individually I love some of the pieces, but don't like how it was put together here.

Raina; owning a showroom.... Will say this looks like one. I like individual pieces and styled beautifully... For a photo shoot not for actual living:) ... Cheryl

I like the colors and the general idea but it's kind of all over the place literally and figuratively.

Sorry, it's an "ugh" from me. Both of the rugs are hideous. There's something unharmonious about the arrangement and framing of this shot.

This makes me feel really, really, really good about my own hovel.

PS to Petra -- There's machismo somewhere in this room? Maybe if I could see it, I'd find something I liked.

my favorite and my best- MFAMB to you said...

the art is fantastic.

The zebra appears to have been stomped to death by the settee.
