Who knew Chucky was such a narcissist?

Should be titled "rooms to give you eternal nightmares!". Wrong on so many levels

If you collect clowns like this, to this level, you don't stick them ALL in the bathroom. The rest of the house has gotta be like this too. Otherwise, imagine the dinner parties: Oh yeah, it's just down the hall... and then ARGHHHH!

Oh dear, here come the clowns.
Terrifying -- tramp art taken to the extreme.

And where are the clowns?
Quick, send in the clowns.
Don't bother - they're here.

Scary, creepy and just plain awful. I think the clown dolls harpooned to the walls are especially creepy...or maybe the painting in the gold frame.
Looks like he's plotting to kill you when your back is turned.

an anxiety attack before breakfast...nice.

my favorite and my best- MFAMB to you said...

personally i think a collection of ANYTHING this size is crazy, but the fact that it's clowns just means prolly a serial killer's bathroom.

Um... I have no words.

My Interior Life said...

Yes, just as MFAMB wrote it reminded me of John Wayne Gacy. Chilling.

On the plus side, it reminds me of a fun restaurant in Chicago that has crazy Pez dispenser decor and really good food.

I guess that dreadful collection is appropriate for a bathroom because it scares the sh*t outta me.

Funny! In this place, you don't need magazines to pass the time, just look around.

gah! As one of those people who are afraid of clowns, I wouldn't go in here. I'd just have to hold it.

I'm all for less serious decorating, but this is just silly.

Hahaha! You and I are on the opposite ends of the same spectrum again. First Undecorate, then this. I actually posted images from a different home of the same owner today. His house in Mexico is far less loco!

I'm going against the tide on this one. I would never, ever want this in my house or anywhere I visit on a regular basis, but its complete wackiness makes me happy. Something about the colors of the objects (well, they must be clowns, I guess, duh?) lined on the right ledge just does it for me.

I will say that the handtowel with the clown is creepy beyond belief.

creepsters...feels like you'd be walking into a bloody horror show.

Apparently there was a clown trend back in the day because I always find clown paraphernalia when I am out thrifting.

If you don't have a clown phobia, you will!

Carolann said...

Oh hell no!--clowns and dolls freak me out. And so do out of control collections...I'm with MFAMB on that one.

I'm sooo sending this pic to my man with "This is how I want to do our hall bathroom!" ;)

I had such bad nightmares last night because of you RC. Stick a nylon jumper and a snake in there and becomes the embodiment of all my phobias.

i hope this bathroom belongs to a 20-something kid in a band who is expressing irony through thrift shop decor.

it's really kinda funny but wouldn't want to live with it, and if the owner is over 35, it's creepy.

Nothin' scarier than a clown. Nothin'.

There's a bar in my neighborhood, and the basement is called the Clown Lounge, and it is fantastic. This, is making my skin crawl, not because of the clowns, but the clutter. So much for the bathroom nastiness to cling to. Barf.

Effing scary.

Eileen said...

By the same designer who did the interiors of Applebee's. First your "eatin' good in the neighborhood" and then your...poopin' good on account of some nasty food.

Nick Klaus said...

I hope that this is an ironic decision. If not, I'm suffering from a scary kitsch overdose.

I'm tardy to this party (thank god), but this literally scares the crap out of me.
