When Oprah met Ralph

 Photo via George Burns/Harpo Studios.

Today, Oprah paid a visit to fashion mogul Ralph Lauren's Telluride, Colorado ranch and talked about normalcy, inspiration and teepees.  Head on over to Curbed National for my wrap-up!

Can't wait to read your take after I get to watch the show. Right now my TV is being monopolized by Chicago sports teams.

I loved Oprah's choice outfit...she blended right into the teepee's decor! ha

Thanks a ton for stopping by my corner of Blogger, and the hearty welcome to yours! I love la Lamp Shade.

Oprah sure did love that Tee Pee. I felt like she was about to to cry, or at least ask Ralph if she could stay there....

YHBHS - Wasn't it weird how she kept going on about stalking the ranch fence? And you could tell she was dying for an invite to one or both of the kids' weddings.

You assume that anyone who has built the sort of empire he has would be awful, but he seems terribly likeable.

I also like Oprah's sweater. RRL is my favorite of everything they make.

Wasn't this an amazing episode?? His whole family is (a) gorgeous (b) seemingly approachable and (c) sound like a real family. Good on the Lauren's for living such a lovely private life.
