Ikat and the not-so-hot

New York Congressman Anthony Weiner and his tumescent, uh, ego have dominated the past week's news cycles. While I'm thoroughly unimpressed with his behavior, I am digging the throw pillow in one of his texted downlow photos. Weiner's wife Huma Abedin, aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (who will no doubt be able to give counsel about errant husbands), makes much better choices in decorating than in life partners.

The cock shot doesn't bother me at all, the lie and ensuing circus does.

Tweet your wang all you want, but if you think you're not going to get caught or you're prepared to attempt to lie your way out, that makes me question your judgment.

absolutely hilarious! And love how his creepy picture is the thumbnail in my blogreel...you are too funny!

When I first saw that pic my eye was immediately drawn to that pillow too....Huma is gorgeous too, I recall seeing her in a Vogue feature. I have to admit though the boxer/brief situation was interesting though. I was grossed out but in disbelief that he was packing like that...but I am a little nasty, so there you go.

I, for one, am grateful for any controversy that allows me to say weiner on a regular basis. Weinergate. Wienermobile. Wiener dogs. Weiner. Wiener. However you spell it, it's freaking hilarious when said aloud. So let's all raise our (ahem) glasses to Anthony Weiner, his big, giant (ahem) nose and his wife's most excellent taste in throw pillows!

I agree it's not the sex, it's the lying and the directing others to lie about the sex that breaches the public trust.

A-Weiner and Eliot Spitzer should start a club.

why are they all so smarty looking?

We know we have a design addiction when we are more excited about furnishings than weiners. I think the solution is ikat manties.

I spy with my little eye the Madeline Weinrib Mu cushion in Blue (or could it be black?). That sucker retails for $600+ at ABC Home.

My immediate thought when seeing this pic for the first time was, "I wonder what the rest of the place looks like." Great minds... :D

But ick, he's so creeper!

Apart from the whole hoo-haa which we have sort of missed over here( shame! Love wiener gags hahaha) - why is he wearing a ( $ 3,-) white t-shirt next to a $600 throw pillow ??Is this to show he is really sorry and he can't wear a decent shirt for a month because of his extreme twitter act ??Why not wear the t-shirt over his head, that night help reduce the creepiness..

I think men have no idea that women just aren't that interested in pics of their package. I'll take a pillow pic over a package pic any day!

he should have put that pillow over his tallywhacker, then he would have gotten more looks.
