That sculpture peering down from the top of the staircase is a little Norman Bates-esque

A bit much.

I'm digging the deep grey color. The rest is what you'd expect when someone buys a McMansion and hires a decorator.

If you stripped it from it's Robb and Stucky-ness, the house has some good virtues (I will NEVER say 'bones.') I'd fill it with striking, bold art...but NOT that sculpture.

Is that the remains of C3PO at the top of the stairs?

Very McMansion-y: faux columns, bad stair railing, and awkwardly dressed double height curtains in the dining room. Very "new money", as I would expect from this family.

I think the article about sums it up...High drama, screaming for a close up. Not my kind of design, though Jeff Andrews sounds like an awesome guy.

Overall, I am not crazy about this home's interiors. But I love the office though.

Anonymous,
That's what I thought, too!

Nothing homey about this home. Ick.

I will ashamedly admit that I love the chair in the first pic (but sitting in front of a mirror REALLY makes it confusing and I had to stare and THEN appreciate it.) Everything else is boring blah expected.

It looks like the stage set from a 1980s Tim Burton movie. Is that the look they were going for?

Scary House! Does someone actually live there? I am certain everything individually has merit, but together....scary ;-)

If you can get past the materials, style, and new money statement then you can see that this hard working designer Jeff Andrews is brilliant with scale, placement, compostion, and the light and dark of a value scale. This man needs a well deserved pat on the back or better yet a really big paycheck.
Is it just me, but bravo on the over the top crystal vases.

I suppose she got what she wanted and he was more than happy to give it to her.

What are these people all about anyway and how did they make 65 Million dollars last year? Sex tape and big butt???

It *is* scary on a grand scale. Which might explain why I really, really like it. All the patterns, textures, delish floors and general 'set design-ish' elements really float my boat.

I wonder how much of the design really reflects the owner? Do you think a wallet was handed over to the designer with an order to do whatever you want - money's no object? The only thing I like is the black & white floor. Everything else looks nice-ish but it's overkill.

Yawn. Too much money and not enough taste.

They are Kardashians honey. What do you expect? They may as well be from New Jersey. Horrible taste.
