A focal wall should be just that

You won't get any argument here, darling.

Funny how my eye keeps drifting over to the butterfly on the blue wall though.
Damned astigmatism.

So very very in love with this room.

A clockwise shift of the furniture and it could work, not to mention that the outdoor view might be more appreciated. Perhaps there was an unstated reason for setting the room up this way...?

What is with the fish?

For goodness sake, get the bed where the blue wall is and throw the fish out of the window!

What a difficult space. I'm not sure I dislike the color placement nearly so much as the teal itself and that fish.

I'd have salt-scented impalement nightmares.

I can never decide between a focal wall and a focal fish, so I usually just split the difference.

I love it. I especially love how the wall color reflects on the side of the white lampshade.

I could just sit and look at that . . . The framed print (photo?) would be happier on the wall, I think.

The Bakelite baby of that fish lives on my bathroom wall. :-)
