I love a quirky light and while I think it's a cute idea, it's also a bit odd. I mean, it kind of make you want to look up the 'skirt' and I'm not a perve at all!!! I'm not, really. Like the chair though.

Someone chopped that chick in half then vomited after eating too many blueberries.

Sexy legs, me likey! Just kidding. The table lamp is a little too creepy for my taste although I thought the overall room looks great!

that lamp is creeping me out.

As for the paint style - I refer to an earlier comment of yours that has always resonated with me "Shabby Chic is for emotionally unstable women!!" (I love that & have mentioned to quite a few people in my travels - you DO get the credit for it!

What a lovely nook ♥

If you are going to go with a leg lamp - you at least have to do it a la A Christmas Story!

Happy 4th!

It's a little thrift store-ish, but I like that lamp.

Oh, I like it. A few cast-off's, a little pale, something weird, pale color. It's just exactly how we do summer things up here in Maine...when we have summer.

This is likely the 8-months-pregnant me talking, but all I can think is that she looks like she needs to pee. But, again, I may have personal experience with this issue.

digging the lamp - having to stand on tip-toe is the story of my life

I told that lamp to go potty before we left the store.

It's A Christmas Story knock off. Too contrived I think!

I would have nightmares that the lamp jumped off the chest and ran around when no one was looking...

I've always like Tom Scheerer's breezy, beachy interiors.
And that lamp has always made me chuckle -- it's cute, it's fun, it's seaside living ;)

That's supposed to be a guy and a gal kissing, btw, not a strange sort of gimp.

Not that lamp, and not quite that style of dresser. Other than that, there's nothing about the arrangement that offends me.

So NOT!!!!

Not sure if I REALLY like the lamp, or if everything else is just too bland in comparison. Not that I have a desire to have all rooms scream at me, but this......eh

Both my Feminist side and Fairy side say NO. Generally we don't go for lady-parts, as lamps or otherwise.

Like the space, but in a different color. Would make a great writing or thinking nook.

Dislike the stuff in the space. All of it.

I like the light and space and angles...at first I liked the lamp ...but I couldn't live with it...like a shy girl's legs...too weird.

Jane Black said...

Too busy. The chair has nothing to do with the chest and what's with the drab blue?

drollgirl said...

that lamp is so ridic that i almost want it. but the shade proportion is just wrong wrong wrong and needs to be changed.
