Seduction central

The bedroom of film producer/actress/art world progeny Stella Schnabel in her Chinatown, NYC duplex. The rug is Madeline Weinrib, the coffee table by Yves Klein, and the cast-bronze bed was designed by Schnabel's father Julian.

The other two rooms are actually good but these two are a huge mess! It makes me wonder, are they designed by the same person?

Have a great week, Raina!

Jessie - I really liked the living room, too. The Egyptian pieces are gorgeous!

She needs to do lots of editing. I love her coffee table.

Am I the only one who finds it disturbing that her father designed her bed?

Indeed, for a moment there, the Oedipal undertones gave me room for pause. But considering that her Dad pretty much lives in pjs, I'm thinking a bed is equivalent to a couch in his eyes.
Honestly, that first shot is hot.
So she's mixing metaphors -- Coco's coromandel, Napoleon's campaign bed, the Yves Klein ode to blue cocaine. The only thing I'd really scrap is that giant flower arrangement -- it's cramping the tole palm tree's style.

Cheers, Alcira

I finds it disturbing that they pronounce their name SHNAAABEL when it used to be SHNAYBEL.
