OK, I don't hate the console/chest or the chair. The rest, not so much. That mirror reminds me of the plastic rings my kids get from random carnivals. M.

I say push the whole thing down that air vent and have done with it (not to put too fine a point on it).

well, i just painted my foyer purple(which is outside of the box for me as far as colour choices that i would normally choose are). However, i love it! This foyer though not so much. it might be the coice of furniture and accessories...?

That plastic-like mirror is hurting my eyes! Please stop!

Love the green chair though!

Love the green chair and dark wall combo. The mirror is a little strange and I don't care for the styling on the server.

Well, it was clear that Todd Alexander Romano who is normally (and traditionally) brilliant was pretty flummoxed by the room when it was handed to him if you read the NYT's interview on the Kips Bay Showhouse this year. I think he just threw everything at it and unfortunately things like the giant brass giraffe stuck. If he was going for bright and shiny and just plain odd - I'm thinking of the giant pineapple centerpiece - he NAILED IT! I do like the green and aubergine color combo though...

I'm thinking it may look better in person than in this photo, however, the mirror reminds me of one the beauticians might have used when styling Dorothy in the Emerald City Salon.....k

I kinda love it.
Maybe not the rabbit though, or the cabinet necessarily, but the feel of it - i loves!

I'm into the chair and the console. And I like the wall color too. But I'm with Debra: the double rock cocks have got to go. It looks like that little blue bunny on the table is cowering for fear that its going to get it in the bunny hole. Quite disconcerting.

Not much left for me to say, I'm afraid. The penis geodes are just wrong. I like the chair a bunch, including the fresh apple green (I've owned a few apple green frenchy satin chairs myself: http://thedowneastdilettante.blogspot.com/2010/01/hello-my-name-is-down-east-dilettante.html)

I once did a show space in yellow with purple and green accents. I thought it was brilliant. I was apparently alone in that assessment.

I really like the pops of color...The mirror seems a tad over the top, but I could get used to it.
