I Want to Be Her!

Do you remember when Lucky was awesome? You know, when Kim France was at the helm and Andrea Linett was creative director with that fab little end page? The one you jumped ahead to and read first to learn how to dress like that cool chick who did her junior year in France and always knows that secret shop on Pimlico Road with the best stuff? Well, it's now in book form with requisite darling illustrations.

In I Want to Be Her!: How Friends & Strangers Helped Shape My Style, Miz Linett shares her secrets for looking effortlessly pulled together. "Through short descriptions and memories, we meet 50 women across five eras of her life - some passing strangers, some casual friends, some close confidantes - who each made a lasting impression and helped her form her own personal style."

Thanks to Kim for the heads up - you are reading her blog "Girls of a Certain Age," aren't you?

More importantly, Kim and Andrea were both part of the Sassy magazine team! Thanks for the heads up about this book. The only problem is that I will be picturing her as she appeared in the pitch-perfect "Dopey Model Poses" end pages of a few Sassy issues.
