Is this a transgression?

Arhaus Berwick sectional.

A Chesterfield sectional - yea, nay or just okay?

This classic never disappoints. Always in my top choice.

just ok
my initial thought was 'bastardized!'

Have been in some incredible media rooms where this would be perfect.

It's just okay. The lesson I learned in Chesterfield ownership is that the seat shouldn't be tufted. Tufting makes it too firm and uncomfortable.

I could maybe see it in the right hotel lobby? But it does give me pause.

Transgression always sounds so delicious but I wouldn't eat this - nor sit on it, most likely.

Elongation is not enough of a design twist to make it good. xx

Love a chesterfield sofa, but I prefer sections to be in a cleaner more contemporary vein.
