Life is too short to live ugly.
he he! :) and that carpet! My eyes!
Your blog has been like a time machine this week. Today you took me to 1977, some dork's basement trying to show off with a pool cue. I am drinking an RC cola with the other 9 year olds.
The brown orange carpet just sets it off perfectly.
I want to see the rest of the house.
Oo, orange carpet will blind you.In between the table and the walls.Oo, coming right behind youSwear I'm gonna rehab youOne of these nights!
Not kidding. I just bid on a staging job yesterday that has a similar room -- only worse with 10,000 VCR tapes in open shelving and vintage dolls surrounding the pool table. I'm sending you a pic via email just for grins. :)
How about this????http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/emi-and-nathans-natural-history-house-tour-191067
gmjl - Hipsters! Rockabilly! Taxidermy!
On certain 'design' TV shows down here this would be classed as good design. Shudders.
Might there be some wood paneling, an outdated wet bar, or some saloon doors elsewhere in that house?
Mallory High - All that and quite a bit light pink "fancy-ness." I know of no other word for it.
Like a forest in a fairy tale---totally scary. But one has to admire the totality of the concept?
