Life is too short to live ugly.
I think the flower chairs are fairy nice. They gave me a fey good chortle, anyway.
would love to slowly walk through this room - there is something to discover EVERYWHERE but thinking of having to dust this - NOOOOOO!
I would reupholster the hell out of almost everything!
Would work better with a different rug! :P
It reminds me of a fabric store in New Orleans my mom used to take me to when I was growing up. It was fabulous and could serve up the perfect material for all the varied clients a fabric store in NOLA would need to serve - a little girl making her first communion, a Dubutante, a Carnival Queen, a Drag Queen, etc...It was full of all kinds of sumputous materials and trimmings and adornments. And it was decorated exactly like this! I can even image what the space smells like....old ladies, gin, sweat, and toilette water.
Yum Cha Restaurant
this feels like i have entered an antique mall and am about to head down an aisle
Well....I would never want to live there, but I would love to visit! It made me smile - no small feat on a Monday morning.
Looks like a second hand store! A bit much, and disjointed. xo NancyPowellbrowerhome.com
I have to say that there is something cocoon like about it that is nice. It reminds me of the inside of a Genie's bottle.
Final Clearance Sale, Everything Must Go!(except the rug. I dig the rug)
I thought it was a store until I read the text. I love the first comment about the chairs. So funny and appropriate!
There must be a fertilizer involved..... somehow somewhere
I am not feeling the fabrics used in this store, opps, I mean home. The flower chairs are quite ugly, to be honest. However, the coral settee is beautiful. It would be fun checking this place out for kicks, though. :)Jessiewww.mixandchic.com
I kinda love it - which kinda shocks me! not my usual kinda thang..but also have the feeling it would make me sneeze if I visited.
My eyes hurt.
Omg I just need to know the name of that store Peeke mentions. I have a few ideas.Regarding ghe room... I like. Couldn't live there myself but it looks fun
Obviously inspired by Loulou de la Falaise. Interesting.
wellst. i can say with absolute certainty the thing that bothers me the most is the flower stool.
Miles Redd on crack in Japan?
An example of how the 'if you like it buy it and it will all work together' theory doesn't always pan out.
Certainly not a room you'd like to be in if you'd had too much to drink. Actually, this may be a perfect example of what "one too many" looks like from a design perspective.
Looks like the inside of a Pier1 store
I want to know why Commenter, Peeke sounds intriguing, with a hefty story to tell, but her blogs are shooting blanks.Jason, this is your task. Find out why this Nola-native is holding out on us.
