I actually love this room! It's unconventional, artistic and chic at the same time. However, I would make sure the tables are lined up properly!

I don't really like any individual part of it, but the chandelier and art seem oddly made for each other. And I appreciate the way the sculpture is placed to interact with the painting. But the table/chair/candlestick situation is unforgivable. This could be sorta classy if the furniture went in a sleeker & generally less distracting direction.

I have trouble with the candle holder thingies. Sculpture is overkill, too. I love the painting. (It reminds me of Basquiat) The chandelier is great. Chairs look good, too, but I wish the upholstery was a bright color.

There's some really great stuff in this picture..but what Ita said.

That's painting's gotta be a basquiat. So hell yes.

And double hell yes to the chandy.

The mismatched table-line is an easy fix (or maybe a rambunctious male child stormed through and bumped it, as happens daily in my house).

I like it for the most part. I would like it more without the light fixtures.

I'm getting OCD flare from the tables, and I cannot bear the art, but the rest is very nice. I guess art appreciation is in the eye of the beholder, right? I have young sons, I see this kind of shit all the time...

I like.
Though that painting is a tad overwhelming.

I think it's very chic and artistic. The butcher block- like unaligned tables ruin it for me, though. They just don't seem to work with an otherwise interesting mix.
