That guillotine light fixture makes me feel like any meal on that table could be one's last.

I could use a rug in there for warmth and texture. That light is confusing. Stay well. xo Nancy

I find the light fixture strangely compelling, although I'm not sure why. I love everything else in the room though - except that lonely little side chair, which I hate.

believe it or nor, if you take away the tabletop decor (flowers/ orbs) I think it's cool....maybe TOO cool...not sure.

An acoustical nightmare

Great elements, not all together

There are a few strange things - what is the thing on the wall behind the table? - but WOW that table and that wall!

I like the dining chairs, the legs remind me of baseball bats (which makes me wonder if you could actually do up a chair using bats). Coulda woulda had it right, that light fixture does look like a guillotine! And the wheels on the wall, what are they? Pulleys? Garden hose racks? Water release values, to clean up the blood after the guillotine light?

I like the space...everything else, not so much

The light fixture seems a bit overwrought.

I don't like the idea of doing something different just for the sake of doing something different. It has to make sense in the space. This feels contrived. I do think the table is quite fab and the gold chair legs are cute too. The end.

It looks oddly like part of a very fancy gymnasium -- I'm sure that the pool is just out of sight to the left, and the wheels on the wall have something to do with sluicing out the place. The light fixture has been assembled from parts of I-beams, so it fits, except for the inexplicable inverted hot air balloons. The beautiful table is out of place and of course, with that swimming pool so close, I worry about water damaging it. Since its primary job must be to hold the sign-up sheets for swim classes, they should replace it with a less-precious laminate-topped folding model.

um i am actually increasingly infatuated with this space. the more i look at it the more i love it. i agree with Mom , could use a rug for warmth, but if that feature/rock climbing wall is indeed burl wood, im totally all in

I love the light fixture in the space, the place would be great fun for parties, especially if full. It looks like a solid good time. My only complaint (and it's a tiny one) is the flowers need to be in something much shorter- an alvar aalto vase perhaps, in glass that matches the light?
