Apropos of nothing

I want a pink SMEG like nobody's business.

Do you have a secret decorating wish
which makes zero sense for your current reality?

I want matching sofas that will face each other in my family room. I have wanted them for 20 years and every house I seem to buy has an awkwardly long and narrow family/living room.
That pink SMEG would be pretty sweet too.

I could be here all day...I would like more desks and chairs. Odd bc I am always lying in bed and I already have desks and chairs...I used to have two fridges and now have one but I'd like a fridge just for stinky food. I also like those meneghini fridges nigella uses.

My secret decorating wish wouldn't hold up in any reality—a carved wooden crab coffee table I saw on 1stDibs and few years ago.

Eff it, "good taste" is for the proletariat anyway. #neverapologise

I DID it! I installed a Sub-Zero 48" pro free standing, 800 pounds of stainless and glass piece of art that also chills/freezes food. I live in a modest house, in a modest neighborhood...but in my kitchen I have THE BOMB! I just turned 65 in October. I tell my husband when we die we can use the thing for a mausoleum.

I would like a big, round dining table. Except years ago I promised the Mr. that the wonderful rectangular table we bought would be our last.

I would also like Home Before Dark's fridge. I visit the display to pay homage every time I go to Nebraska Furniture Mart.

Pieter - I cannot tell you how much I LOVE that table. Lovelovelove.

home before dark - *high five* Oh, man, I want one of those so bad. It could sit next to the SMEG and they could be best friends.

Is it perhaps because I am a 12 year old at heart, that I just KNOW a SMEG refrigerator in my home would be constantly and snidely remarked upon every time I went into the kitchen? Not entirely clear, but signs point to yes.

I want a lot of new gadgets seen in higher end kitchens. A pot filler. A crumbs sweeper outlet (Vac Pan? who knew?)

A dishwasher. Yes you read me correctly. I removed a dishwasher to gain more cabinet space in my tiny kitchen, and it has been the biggest regret in renovating this house.

You could build a room around that crab, Pieter; he's pretty amazing.

My list would be long, too. I'll take a refrigerator like Yolanda's

I so want a 48" wolf range, but I can't get gas in my neighborhood nor would it fit in my kitchen.

it's not that new, but about a year ago, i priced the indus black and white marble mosaic tile with brass inlays that james duncan designed for new ravenna. i should say ATTEMPTED to price - they were pretty cagey with pricing by the foot, but our best estimation of what they were trying to tell us was over $400 per square foot, TRADE PRICE. still though. sooooo hottttt. http://newravenna.photoshelter.com/gallery-image/Floors-Medallions/G0000yx.9NHESW1s/I0000BSmqyXQcY2w/C0000U7Nmr0Dj3GA
